Immigration appeals in Spain

A refusal, closure of an application or other unfavourable decision needs to be read alongside your file. We review the reasons and documents to explain the routes that may apply, without assuming that every decision can be overturned.

Advice in English and Spanish.

Your circumstances first

We review your situation before considering a route.

Documents with a purpose

We connect your information with the case that needs reviewing.

A clear scope

We agree on the work and fees before starting the service.

Who this is for

If you have received a refusal, a closure decision or another adverse decision and need to understand what to do with your case.

How we can help

Understanding the reasons

We examine the complete decision and the material submitted with the application. We compare its reasoning with your circumstances and the documents available, identifying the issues that call for a legal review or closer examination of the supporting material.

Assessing the appropriate route

We assess whether an administrative appeal or administrative court proceedings may be appropriate. The route depends on the decision received and the steps already taken. We also discuss which further documents may be relevant when preparing the matter for review.

Addressing the decision’s effects

If a removal order or another consequence requires urgent attention, we assess the available options, including possible interim measures. That review needs an understanding of your particular circumstances and the official communications you have received about the matter.

Preparing a clear challenge

We organise the documents and define the scope of the engagement before preparing the submission. We explain what is being requested, the arguments supporting it and which later actions may need a further assessment as the matter progresses.

How we work with you

  1. Read the decision

We start with the complete decision, its notification and your original submission.

  2. Assess the response

We review the reasons and the route worth considering.

  3. Prepare the next submission

We agree the scope of the appeal and organise its arguments and documents.

Frequently asked questions

Does a refusal mean the authority made an error?

Not necessarily. The reasons and file need to be reviewed before assessing whether there are grounds for a challenge and which arguments can be supported.

Can I go to court without first requesting reconsideration?

It may be possible, depending on the decision and procedure. Not every remedy is mandatory or follows the same sequence; we check this when reviewing your file.

Let’s discuss your next step.

Tell us which decision you received and when it was notified. We can identify the review your case needs.
