Beckham Law and the inbound tax regime

A move to Spain deserves a tax review before choosing a regime. We check eligibility for the inbound regime, compare alternatives and prepare the election where it fits your circumstances.

How we can help

Eligibility review

We assess the reason for the move, previous residence and the employment or activity supporting it. The Beckham Law is a specific income tax regime and is not granted automatically with a visa.

Comparing before electing

We assess expected income, investments, assets and family circumstances. The special regime is compared with ordinary taxation to explain the differences in your case, without assuming it is always more favourable.

Documents and form 149

We review the dates determining the deadline, gather supporting records and prepare the prior documentation and election notice. Required steps and authorisations are agreed before submission.

Ongoing compliance

After election, we review relevant returns and changes in employment, activity or relocation that may affect the regime. Family members are assessed individually rather than assumed to be covered.

Frequently asked questions

Is a remote-work visa enough?

No. All tax conditions, the nature of the activity, supporting documents and the election deadline must be checked.

Can I wait until the income tax filing season?

It should be reviewed when planning the move or starting work. The election has its own timing rules and should not be confused with the annual return deadline.
